How much does family photography cost?

Family photography packages start from £149. The Essentials package includes four edited digital images, Signature includes 14 images, and Premium includes the full edited gallery plus wall art or gallery credit.

Where do family photography sessions take place?

Sessions can take place at your home, in your garden or at an outdoor location across Hertfordshire. We can choose somewhere meaningful to your family, or I can suggest suitable locations.

What should we wear for our family photoshoot?

Choose clothes that feel comfortable and coordinate without matching exactly. Neutral colours, soft textures and simple patterns tend to photograph well. I’ll provide guidance before the session.

What happens if my children don’t cooperate?

That’s completely normal. I keep sessions relaxed and work around your children rather than forcing poses or smiles. Some of the best photographs often happen between the planned moments.

How long does a family photography session last?

Sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the package you choose. This gives everyone time to settle in without making the shoot feel rushed.

How many photographs will I receive?

The Essentials package includes four edited images, Signature includes 14, and Premium includes every professionally edited image from your final gallery.

Can we include grandparents or extended family?

Yes. Extended family sessions are welcome. Let me know how many people will be attending when you enquire so I can recommend the most suitable package and location.

Can we bring our dog or other pets?

Absolutely. Pets are part of the family and are very welcome at home or at suitable outdoor locations. Just mention them when booking so we can plan accordingly.

What happens if it rains?

For outdoor sessions, I’ll keep an eye on the forecast and discuss the options with you. We can move to a sheltered location, photograph at home or rearrange if the weather is unsuitable.

Are the photographs professionally edited?

Yes. Every selected photograph is individually edited for colour, light and consistency. Retouching is natural, so you still look like yourselves rather than heavily altered.

Can I order prints and wall art?

Yes. Prints, canvases and other wall art can be ordered through your private online gallery. The Premium package includes a 24 x 16-inch canvas or equivalent gallery credit.

How do I book a family photography session?

Send me an enquiry with your preferred date, location and a little about your family. I’ll confirm availability, recommend the right package and send everything you need to secure the booking.
